Wow, what a great turnout – 48 Day Women and Evening Women!
I think we had the pro shop spinning.
Great to see so many day women and evening women participating ! I enjoyed playing with women I have never played with before.
Our event was blind partners – pairing up one day woman with one evening woman. There were 4 place prizes.
Congrats to: 4th place: MaryJo Knox and Colleen Peters, 3rd place: Mary Wands and Kathy Crow, 2nd place Lois Lawlor and Helen Noble (me), 1st place Shirley McDermot and Lori Madill.
All the winners received thousands of $$’s in pro shop credits.
Black Forest Event: there were 11 (wow) women who ended up in the Black Forest on #11 – their names were put in a hat and Kathy Crow won some golf balls and ball marker.(For the next time she ends up in the woods).
White sand event was won by Jennifer Reynolds- she was the only one in the sand on #17. She takes home a sand bucket and shovel(to dig herself out), water bottle, fresh socks and some Smart snacks.
Black and White event(ladies who did not wear b&w received post-it note pad to remind them for next time) – who wore the most black and white – Lori Madill and Audrey Huston each had 10 items of black & white – tiebreaker – who had a black or white purse – congrats Lori – prize to bring some colour in her life – mosaic patio candles.
Balcony game event: TV quiz of black&white vs colour – Congrats to Bev Heinz, Deb Campbell, Pauline Jamieson, and Barb Abray They obviously need more balance away from TV – prize – Callaway Balance bracelets.
Evening Lady Wine Prize: day woman – Barb Rieger, evening woman – Pam Wiener
50/50 Prize – Julie Green (I know) $40. – Julie then drew Shirley McDermot to break even, and Shirley drew Lori Madill for the other break even tooney.
Jam packed night- lots of laughs.
Thanks to Cara and Nick for putting together black & white themed menu. Ink pasta – very creative.
Special thanks to Shaun for helping get it together – we all teed off…………eventually?
