Today our new G.M., Laura Vanek and I had the opportunity to golf the course for the first time. Cory Gentes was kind enough to take time out of his busy schedule to show us why this course is so fabulous!
Laura is a great golfer, and we all know how great Cory is! Me?? Well….this was my first ever official golf game. Certain words (you know which ones I mean) passed my lips MANY times today!. Laura and Cory assure me that I will get better.
We saw birds (red cardinal – beautiful!), got away from our crack blackberries, said hello to the swans (they are expecting again), and had a great morning.
Have pity on me if you see me out on the course (don’t worry, I’ll let you play through!), and please make sure to say hello if Ihaven’t met you already.
I do rather like all of the new clothes I get to buy though! Here is a picture of Cory, Laura and me on the first tee (surprise – I played the green tees).
